An ETLA is an Extended Three Letter Acronym - but you all knew that right?

MBTI (r) is the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. There are loads of unofficial personality tests on the internet you can take for free. I tried a few and ENFP seems to sum me up very well. More importantly, my wife agrees.

I don’t know what you think of these personality tests. It’s very easy to use them to pigeon-hole and stereotype yourself and others with them rather than use them as indicators. Personally, I’ve found it useful to think about what I’m like, and therefore what kind of work might suit me best.

I came across these very funny reworkings of Reinhold Niebuhr’s ‘Serenity Prayer’ for the 16 MBTIs at

Clever face detection software makes for some fun photo editing at Photofunia. The emphasis given to the google ads can make useability a problem, but the results are good if you don’t end up on a sponsored site before you’ve selected your effect and uploaded a photo.

Oh dear. I’ve lost my blog posts and comments from the last few years. I don’t think it’s a great loss to the world, but it is annoying as it was completely my own fault and easily avoidable. However, holidays and family circumstances got in the way of me giving proper attention to migrating my hosting, and the full backups I’d made weren’t nearly as full as I’d thought.

Never mind, this is as good a time as any to start again. I have a couple of new projects on the go which I hope to unveil shortly.
